Infill System

Blue Sky Turf installs any desired infill system. We offer a wide variety of infill options including the famous all-rubber infill, sand and rubber combination infill, organic infill, and even ChillFill, a product that reduces surface temperature.

Our exclusive sandless system maintains the same level of performance, but is less abrasive and cleaner for the players. All-rubber infill systems cannot harden or change composition. Their non-abrasive and non-porous consistency allows for harmful materials to flow quickly out of the system. Now armed with an antimicrobial product, our all-rubber infill does not breed potential hazardous microbials and does not absorb bacteria, fungus, or algae.

All-rubber Infill Systems

There are typically three methods of production for rubber infill: Ambient, Cryogenic, and Crambient. Crambient is the latest innovation in all-rubber infill production. The Crambient system combines the best aspects of Ambient and Cryogenic technology in both its production process and final result. The angular rubber is produced through a nitrogen freezing procedure and is then processed through three steps; screening, cleaning, and cutting. Our Crambient infill production system delivers one of the highest acclaimed infill products available today.

ChillFill Technology

Endless hours in the sun can cause surface temperatures to reach unbearable levels. In hot climates field temperatures can sometimes almost double the air temperature. Our ChillFill technology can help alleviate extreme field heat and reduces surface temperatures by over 30 percent. With our optional HydroSpray you can bring the field temperature down even lower than the air temperature. Keep the players safe, keep the game going.

PermaSand

Rubber Coated Sand is a revolutionary new technology for synthetic turf systems. High purity quartz sand is coated with a proprietary flexible and durable polymeric coating to provide improved properties over the traditional infill mediums. The coated PermaSand™ can be provided in any color, the granules are rounded and less abrasive, and it will not crush like silica sand with calcium carbonate impurities.

Permasand has been specifically designed and created to provide optimal benefits, making it the best infill product available for synthetic turf systems. PermaSand is the one of the safest technologies to enter the synthetic turf industry in years and is the most environmentally safe product offered.

HydroSpray

Our underground water cannon system sprays down fields in hot regions to further cool the surface temperature. In collaboration with ChillFill, there is no better way to maintain optimal field temperature.
